What is Arendo?

Arendo is a coworking space located in the City of Smiles, Bacolod City. It operates on trust and collaboration with its members and aims to support and to promote the local businesses of Negros.

What is coworking?

Coworking is a new approach to working where it involves people either employed by a company, working as a freelancer or self-employed sharing the same work space. It is more than just free coffee. It is a place where people go to get things done and build their network.

What do members of Arendo get when they sign up?

SUPER FAST AND RELIABLE INTERNET: Arendo offers fibre optic internet connection to ensure its members experience fast internet at all times.

MEETING ROOMS: Monthly members get to enjoy discounted rates on our meeting rooms.

PRINTING/SCANNING/COPYING: Monthly membership come with printing packages.

WELL EQUIPPED OFFICE: Arendo space is equipped with desks, chairs, lockable storages.

COFFEE: We are passionate about our coffee. It keeps our members buzzing and it is a great way to meet people and build connections. Arendo only uses coffee beans which are 100% locally sourced from Negros. This is in line with our company’s goal to promote local produce.

LOUNGE, PANTRY, EXTRAS: Arendo wants it members to have a work-life balance. This is the reason why we incorporated in our plan lounge areas, fully stocked pantry and private phone booths.

EXCITING EVENTS: Arendo’s goal is to build a community and help its members increase their network. We have weekly and monthly events lined up for all members and non-members a like to connect with each other.

What is the difference between a fixed desk and a hotdesk?

A hotdesk is a space at Arendo Coworking where you can sit anywhere and everywhere you want to get your work done. If you enjoy meeting new people, this is the perfect desk for you. It is on a first come first served basis. To promote the value of “coworking”, members who use the hotdesk have to make the desk available for other co-workers everytime they leave the space.

A fixed desk on the other hand, is a dedicated desk for you and for you alone. The desk is basically reserved for you for the entire duration of your coworking agreement and allows you to leave your monitor, document tray, or other office supplies on your desk.

What is mailbox service?

Arendo offers mailbox service to members and non-members alike. For a minimal fee, you get to use the mailing address of Arendo for your business needs. Our friendly staff will take care of receiving your mails/parcels and hand it over to you.

Are non-members allowed to use the space of Arendo?

Arendo, welcomes everybody to experience our space. Walk-in clients are definitely most welcome. They can choose between 2 hours, 4 hours, full day or weekly pass. 

How do I become a member?

You will need to sign up to our monthly coworking plan in order to become a member. Please visit our Arendo office, located at GF Roli’s Arcade La Salle Avenue, Bacolod City or email us at [email protected]

I am in need of a private office. Does Arendo offer this? What are the terms?

Arendo provides a private office to lease. We have a flexible month-to month agreement and only requires a minimal deposit of PHP 1,000.00.

Are your coworking agreements really on a month to month basis?

Yes, it is. Part of Arendo’s goal is to provide people with a space without the hassle of leasing agreements. In this way, you can have more flexibility in growing your business. Do all memberships begin on the 1st of the month?

Yes. But that does not mean you can only start on the 1st of the month. If you signed up after the 1st of the month, we will pro-rate your first month membership so you are in line with our monthly billing cycle.

Can I rent out the entire space of Arendo for my private event?

Yes. Arendo’s space is open for private events, conferences or workshops. Please contact Arendo at [email protected] for more information.

I am not a member of Arendo but will need to rent out your Meeting Room for my company’s exclusive function. Is this possible?

Arendo provides a Meeting Room that is open for both member and non-members. Meeting Rooms can accommodate between 4 to 16 people and is on a first come first served basis. These meeting rooms can hold your private events and/or conference. Please check our Pricing Plans page for the rates. You can make your reservations online or email at [email protected].

What are your opening hours?

Arendo is open 24 hours from Monday-Saturday, opening at 7am on Mondays. On Sundays, we are open from 12am-6pm (closed between 6am-9am). However, with the recent changes with COVID-19, please check this page for our current opening hours.

I am a local entrepreneur and would like to introduce my business to Arendo and its members. Who do I get in touch with?

Can I just walk in or should I make an appointment for viewing/tour?

Viewings or tours must be scheduled in advance. This is to ensure that an Arendo team member is available to show you around and focus on helping you make the right choice. Please call us at +63 34 445 6397 or email at [email protected] for more information.

Can I receive mails and packages at Arendo?

Monthly members under fixed desk and private office can receive mails and packages at Arendo. This is one of the many benefits that members get when they sign up for our monthly packages. Our Arendo team will send you an email if you receive a mail at Arendo. If your membership does not include the mail box option, you may be able to add this to your membership for a fee. How do I book the Meeting Rooms?

Members can book Meeting Rooms by approaching the Arendo team. For non-members, Meeting Rooms can be booked by calling us at +63 34 445 6397 or email at [email protected].

How big are your Meeting Rooms?

Meeting Rooms at Arendo can accommodate between 4 to 16 people. With this number, our team will be able to provide tables and chairs for each person. If you need more people, we still got you covered. Our meeting room can extend up to 35 people. However, with this number our team will only be able to provide chairs inside the Meeting Room.

How long can I use the Meeting Rooms?

Can I bring my friend at Arendo?

If you have a friend/guest that you want to work with you for the day, please book the Meeting Room or register them at the Reception where they will be given a full day access for a fee.

Can my guests visit me at my Private Office?

Of course. Just make sure that you register them at the Reception.

How do I make payment for my membership?

Currently, Arendo only accepts cash, cheque, GCash and bank transfer. We are working on other payment options as of the moment.

Do you require a deposit fee?

Yes. Deposit fee is for monthly members who use the hotdesk, fixed desk and private office. The deposit is equivalent to PHP 1,000.00 for those on a month by month membership. Those on a long-term agreement with us may need to pay more.

Do I need to give notice if I no longer want to renew my membership?

Yes. Arendo requires its members to give a 30-day notice in case of non-renewal. Security deposit will be forfeited if this is not observed.

What are the timings for the Day pass?

Day Pass: 8am-6pm

How do I get a locker?

If you’re a member under the fixed desk or private office plan, you get one (1) month free use of the locker. Non-members and those under our hotdesk plan are also allowed to rent the locker for a fee. Please approach our Arendo team if you are interested in renting our lockers. All lockers are on a first come first served basis.
